BOOK REVIEW POLICY
Book reviews on this site are written by children about their own books, or books they’ve borrowed from the library, and we also post reviews written by the children on our book review team (who receive review copies for review).
If a child on the review team is interested in reviewing a book we will request a review copy from the publisher concerned.
Traditional publishers
Traditional publishers are welcome to email us with information about upcoming titles for possible book review/author interview. (Please do not send us unsolicited review copies. We know review copies are expensive and we want to be sure we have a reviewer lined up before we say yes.) NB: Alphabet Soup is a site for primary school aged children and we do not usually publish reviews of Young Adult (YA) books.
Self published books
We no longer accept self-published books for review. Please do not send us unsolicited books.
