Book review: If I Could Eat the Stars

The cover of If I could Eat the Stars and Other Poems

Ella reviewed her own copy of this title.

If I Could Eat the Stars is a poetry book filled with poems by lots of Australian authors. I really like this book and the first book which is called Right Way Down.

I like that this a poetry book because I like poetry, and I like most of the authors with poems in this book because I’ve read their books before.

I really liked the theme of space, and I thought the illustrations were really good and fit in with the theme of the poems.

I thought all the poems were great, and it was too hard to pick a favourite! I think that everyone should read this book, especially people who love poetry!
