I am an avid reader of children’s fiction and tutor a number of students. I was disappointed to click onto a book expecting to find a review written by a child, only to find nothing other than the reviwer recommended it. Obviously, that is of little use. I do hope tht in the future the child’s review will be published. Thank you and sorry for the rant. Francesca

Thank you for your comment. The Top Reads posts on the last day of each month are solely for featuring books that children on our Top Reads team recommend. Team members are asked to recommend a book they enjoyed reading over the past month.
If you’re looking for book reviews — we frequently post book reviews by children and those posts are clearly titled ‘book review’. You can read through all the book review posts by clicking on ‘books reviewed by kids’ under CATEGORIES (listed at the right side of the blog.)
